shepherd's pie

i've made this a couple of times.. sadly i have never gotten to take pictures of it. i shld nxt time. hehe. anyhow, better record down d recipe b4 i forget.. since it was quite well received. hehe.

Ingredients
- 700g mince beef
- 1 carrot diced
- 1 onion diced
- tomato sauce
- bbq sauce
- corn flour
- about 800g potatoes skinned and chopped in halves
- about half a block of butter (roughly 125g)
- salt & pepper

Method
- boil the potatoes in salted water till soft and mash it up with the butter
- fry onion and carrot in a pan till onions are brown, add in mince and fry till cooked
- add in tomato sauce and bbq sauce till a taste u like. use roughly equal portions of both sauces
- season with salt and pepper if needed.
- add a lil corn flour with water and mix into mince
- place mince mixture into base of a pyrax tray or anything that can go into the oven. i always use different trays. roughly one that is just a little smaller than A4 sheet.
- cover mash on top. use a fork to draw lines over the top for presentation
- bake in over at 180deg till top of potato turns brown.
- serve :)
